Slow mail

let the good things take time.

Slow Mail is a little monthly ritual for moving through life a little less quickly.

Once a month, a blue envelope will make its way to your mailbox. Not instantly. Not because you need more stuff. Just something small and meaningful to look forward to — a reason to pause, notice where you are, and make a little space in your month.

Inside each envelope:

A piece of art I made — a photograph or drawing — with a few words on the back about why it means something to me.

• an intention card — one word and one question to carry with you through the month.

Keep them. Put the art somewhere you’ll see it, and slowly let the pieces become a collection. Keep your intention cards together, and over time they’ll become a little deck you can return to.

And when your Slow Mail arrives… don’t open it yet.

Each envelope will tell you when. Somewhere, other people will be holding the same little blue envelope, waiting too. On the first of the month, we open them together.

Join during September to receive the November 1st edition. Sign-ups for November close October 1st, giving me enough time to make, pack and send everything your way.
